At the bottom of the FTSE 100 in October2008 I picked 8 Investment Trust stocks a mix of Asia, commodities, global and uk.
The stocks:
Asia Income Fund- from the Aberdeen Assett stable.
Abtrust New Dawn - from the Aberdeen Assett stable.
Alliance Trust-from there own stable
Blackrock Commodiies High Inc- from the Blackrock stable
City of London I.T- from the Henerson stable
Law Debentures- their own
SVM Global- from the Scottish Value stable
SVM UK ACTIVE fund - from the Scottish Value stable
I have invested in 6 of the 8 funds from time to time and are all good Investment trusts run by good managers.
The portfolio had a notional £200000 invested in 8 stocks and has done very well.
Note each date on the spreadsheet you can look at each date on the performance.
There as been some dividends accrued to the portfolio.
